Terms of Service

1. Service description

StatementToExcel is a web-based service that converts PDF bank statements into Excel (.xlsx), CSV (.csv), and Google Sheets formats. The service extracts transaction data including dates, descriptions, amounts, and balances from supported bank statement formats.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this service.

3. Subscription terms

Free accounts include 3 total conversions with a maximum of 5 pages per file. Paid plans (Starter, Professional, Business) are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

Page limits reset on the first of each calendar month (UTC). Unused pages do not roll over to the next month.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact us for a case-by-case resolution.

5. Acceptable use

You may only upload PDF bank statements that you are authorized to access. You may not use the service to process stolen, forged, or illegally obtained documents. You may not attempt to circumvent conversion limits, reverse engineer the service, or use automated tools to access the service beyond its intended API.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Uploaded files are processed for conversion only and deleted within 24 hours. We do not access, analyze, or retain the financial content of your documents beyond what is required for conversion.

7. Accuracy disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy in all conversions, the output depends on the format and quality of the uploaded PDF. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of converted data before using it for accounting, tax, or other financial purposes. StatementToExcel is not an accounting or tax advisory service.

8. Limitation of liability

StatementToExcel is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in converted data, loss of business, or data loss.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
